A reduced rate membership is available for individuals and organizations who cannot afford the full rate. This rate was previously limited to students, seniors, and veterans.

A full waiver is available to individuals or organizations who meet two of three following criteria:

Cannot afford the $160 organizational member fee,
Primarily work with communities who are economically disadvantaged (more than 75% of those served), and/or
Primarily work with populations historically excluded from environmental education (more than 75% of those served).
